Section 13

Any person who has committed or is reasonably suspected of having committed an offence under this Act may be arrested without warrant by any police officer.

Where a person has been arrested or detained under this Act, any police officer, or any other person authorised by the Minister in that behalf, may take all such steps as may be reasonably necessary for photographing, measuring, fingerprinting and otherwise identifying that person.
