Import for coastal reclamation works

Part VIA of the Act shall not apply to or in respect of —

(a)

any consignment of sand or granite that is imported —

(i)

solely for use in any land reclamation works along the coast of Singapore; and

(ii)

in any sea-going ship or vessel without landing anywhere else in Singapore; and

(b)

the importer of any consignment referred to in sub-paragraph (a).
