46. Investigators
Feedback & supportThe Minister may, in writing, appoint any public officer or any other person as an investigator to investigate any offence under this Act.

“investigator” means an investigator appointed under section 46(1) or (2);
The chief executive officer of the Board may, in writing, appoint any officer of the Board as an investigator to investigate any offence under this Act.
Board
“Board” means the Central Provident Fund Board constituted under section 3 of the CPF Act;
An investigator, when exercising any powers and carrying out any duties under this Act, must comply with such general or special directions as may be given —
by the Minister, if the investigator is a public officer or a person mentioned in subsection (1); or
by the chief executive officer of the Board, if the investigator is an officer of the Board.
