It is declared that, for the purposes of Article 21 in the First, Second and Third Schedules, the provisions of the Contributory Negligence and Personal Injuries Act 1953 are provisions of the law of Singapore under which a court may exonerate the carrier wholly or partly from any liability of the carrier.
