Out‑patient scans
Subregulation 1
Subject to regulations 21C and 21D, where, on or after 1 January 2015, a member or the member’s dependant has undergone any out-patient scan approved by the Minister for Health for the purposes of this regulation, the amount that may be withdrawn by the member for the payment for the scan must not exceed —
for the years 2015 to 2025 — $300 per patient per year or the total credit balance in the member’s medisave account, whichever is the lower; and
for the year 2026 and every subsequent year — $600 per patient per year or the total credit balance in the member’s medisave account, whichever is the lower.
Subregulation 2
Any withdrawal by a member under this regulation is subject to such terms and conditions as the Minister for Health may impose.
