To avoid doubt, the payment for any benefit period referred to in sections 12AA, 12AB, 12E and 12H must be paid for every day of the benefit period, including holidays.

This section must not be construed to require an employer to pay an employee an extra day’s salary for a holiday which falls within any benefit period mentioned in subsection (1).
