41. Provision of places of safety and approved homes
Feedback & supportThe Minister may, by notification in the Gazette —
(a)
appoint places or institutions to be places of safety under this Act; and
(b)
may declare any orphanage, hospital, home, institution or other place to be a place of safety for the purposes of this Act.

“place of safety” means any place or institution appointed or declared to be a place of safety under section 41 or any other suitable place the occupier of which is willing temporarily to receive a child;
