Regulation 26

Failure to comply with directions or time limits

Subregulation 1

If a party to any appeal proceedings fails to comply with any direction given by the Minister in accordance with these Rules, the Minister may, if he considers that the justice of the case so requires, order that such party be debarred from taking any further part in the proceedings without the permission of the Minister.

Subregulation 2

The Minister, in his consideration of an appeal, may disregard any notice, defence, reply, rejoinder or other submission or document served on the Minister after the expiry of the time limit for the service of such submission or document imposed by any provision of these Rules or any direction of the Minister.
