Calculation of AL payable
of Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Aviation Levy) Order 2018
For the purposes of section 86(2)(a) of the Act, the AL payable in respect of air passenger tickets that cover a chargeable flight is —
if the chargeable flight begins from Changi Airport — $8 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight; and
if the chargeable flight begins from Seletar Airport, whichever of the following as is applicable:
if the chargeable flight begins anytime before July 2024 — $3.10 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight;
if the chargeable flight begins anytime in July 2024 or later — $8 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight.
