8. Interest on late payment of AL

Where any of the AL that a person is liable under paragraph 5(1) to pay remains unpaid after the time by which the AL is due according to paragraph 7 to be paid, the person is liable to pay the Authority interest on the amount unpaid.
Interest under this paragraph accrues daily at the rate of 4.5%-point above the 3-month compounded SORA for the period —
starting the first day the AL or part of it is in arrears; and
ending the day that the AL in arrears is paid in full to the Authority or an AL collection agent.
Subregulation 1
Where any of the AL that a person is liable under paragraph 5(1) to pay remains unpaid after the time by which the AL is due according to paragraph 7 to be paid, the person is liable to pay the Authority interest on the amount unpaid.
