63C. Notice of increase in total amount paid up on shares

Where a private company issues any partly paid or unpaid share of any class and the company subsequently receives all or any part of the unpaid amount with respect to the share, the company must lodge with the Registrar a notice in the prescribed form with respect to the total amount of such payments and the increase in the total amount paid up on the relevant class of shares within 14 days after the payment.

“private company” means —(a)any company which immediately prior to 29 December 1967 was a private company under the provisions of the repealed written laws;(b)any company incorporated as a private company by virtue of section 18; or(c)any company converted into a private company pursuant to section 31(1),being a company which has not ceased to be a private company under section 31 or 32;
