7. Classification of goods
Feedback & supportThe Board may certify in writing that any goods examined by it are goods of a particular category or description and thereupon the goods shall, for all the purposes of this Act and of any order, be presumed, unless the contrary is proved, to be goods of that category or description and any certificate to that effect purporting to be signed by the Board shall without proof of signature be admitted as evidence in all proceedings under this Act of the matters set forth therein.[8
Board
“Board” means the Trade Development Board established under section 3 of the Trade Development Board Act *;* References formerly in this Act to the Controller of Imports and Exports are, in this Edition, replaced by references to the Board, in accordance with section 18 (2) of the Trade Development Board Act.
