Section 334

Seizure on request

A customs officer may seize goods (whether or not they are infringing goods) if —

(a)

a request to seize is made in respect of the goods;

(b)

the goods are imported or proposed to be exported;

(c)

the request is made in accordance with section 332;

(d)

the request is in force;

(e)

the requestor has deposited any sum of money, or gave any security, required under section 349; and

(f)

the goods are not goods in transit.
