410. Application
Feedback & supportThis Division applies where rights management information in an electronic form —
electronic
“electronic” means actuated by electric, magnetic, electro‑magnetic, electro‑chemical or electro‑mechanical energy;
is attached to or embodied in a protected copy; or
appears in connection with the communication or making available to the public of any protected copy.
This Division does not apply to anything done in relation to a protected copy after the expiry of the relevant copyright or protection period, as the case may be.

“copy” has the meanings given by the provisions in Subdivision (2) of Division 3 of Part 2;
This Division does not apply to anything done for the service of the Government.
