What is a copy of a television broadcast

A “copy” of a television broadcast is —

(a)

insofar as the broadcast consists of visual images — a film of the broadcast, and includes a copy of such a film; and

(b)

insofar as the broadcast consists of sounds — a sound recording of the broadcast, and includes a copy of such a recording.

For the purposes of subsection (1), a film of a television broadcast includes —

(a)

a film of any of the visual images comprised in the programme; and

(b)

a photograph of any of those images.
