32. Power to publish or disclose information

Where the Registrar considers it necessary or expedient in the interest of the public, the Registrar may publish or otherwise disclose information relating to —
Registrar
“Registrar” means the Registrar of Corporate Service Providers appointed under section 5(2)(a), and includes any Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar;
whether a person is a registered corporate service provider or registered qualified individual;
a condition of registration imposed on a registered person under this Act;
any regulatory action taken against a registered person under this Act or any other ACRA Second Schedule Act;
any determination of the Minister in respect of a registered person under this Act or any other ACRA Second Schedule Act; and
any regulatory action or civil or criminal proceedings against a registered person under the law of a country or territory outside Singapore for a contravention of any law relating to the prevention of money laundering, proliferation financing or terrorism financing.
To avoid doubt, this section is not intended to prevent the disclosure or sharing of information by the Registrar as permitted or required by or under any Act or other law (apart from this Act).
Terms defined in s 2
ACRA Second Schedule Act
Defined · s 2“ACRA Second Schedule Act” means any of the written laws specified in the Second Schedule to the ACRA Act;
proliferation financing
Defined · s 2“proliferation financing” means the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction;
registered corporate service provider
Defined · s 2“registered corporate service provider” means a corporate service provider who is registered under this Act, and includes —(a)a deemed registered corporate service provider; and(b)a person who is treated under section 42(3) as registered under section 8 as a registered corporate service provider;
registered person
Defined · s 2“registered person” means a registered corporate service provider or registered qualified individual;
registered qualified individual
Defined · s 2“registered qualified individual” means a qualified individual who is registered under this Act, and includes —(a)a deemed registered qualified individual; and(b)a person who is treated under section 44(1) as registered under section 10 as a registered qualified individual;
Registrar
Defined · s 2“Registrar” means the Registrar of Corporate Service Providers appointed under section 5(2)(a), and includes any Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar;
registration
Defined · s 2“registration” means registration of a registered corporate service provider or registered qualified individual, as the case may be;
