Amendment of First Schedule
of Courts (Civil and Criminal Justice) Reform Bill
The First Schedule to the Supreme Court of Judicature Act is amended —
by deleting the words “in execution” in paragraph 4(b) and substituting the words “under or pursuant to an enforcement order”; and
by inserting, immediately after paragraph 22, the following paragraph:“Ordering parties to attempt to resolve dispute by amicable resolution23.—
Power to order any party to any proceedings to attempt to resolve any dispute by amicable resolution.
In this paragraph, “amicable resolution” means —
settlement of an action or appeal relating to a dispute; or
resolution of a dispute other than by litigation, whether in whole or in part.”.
