Power to summon supplementary witnesses
(1)
The Magistrate’s Court may summon and examine supplementary witnesses after the commitment and before the commencement of the trial and bind them over in the manner hereinbefore provided to appear and give evidence.
(2)
Such witnesses shall be examined in the presence of the accused who shall have the right to cross-examine them. [150
