Section 146

Discharge or committal after defence

When section 145 has been complied with, the examining Magistrate shall —

(a)

if he finds that there are not sufficient grounds for committing him for trial, discharge the accused; or

(b)

if he finds that there are sufficient grounds for committing him for trial, commit the accused for trial before the High Court. [145
