Release before expiration of sentence

The Minister, or a Second Minister, Senior Minister of State, Minister of State, Senior Parliamentary Secretary or Parliamentary Secretary assisting the Minister, may release on licence a person detained in a prison under regulation 29 at any time before the expiration of his sentence, and regulations 27 and 28 shall apply in the case of a person released under this regulation as they apply in the case of a person released under regulation 27.
