Section 15
Lapse of licence
of Early Childhood Development Centres Act 2017
(1)
Unless expired or earlier revoked under section 16, a licence in respect of an early childhood development centre lapses —
if the licensee is an individual, on the date of death of the licensee;
if the licensee is a partnership, body corporate or an unincorporated association, on the date the licensee ceases to exist;
on the date that the licensee is no longer the owner or a lessee of, or no longer has a licence to occupy, the premises used as the early childhood development centre; or
if no children are enrolled in that centre for a continuous period prescribed, at the end of that period.
(2)
No part of any licence fee or renewal fee may be refunded upon the lapse of a licence under this section.
