Clause 3

The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 11 thereof the following section: —“Appointment of member to act on behalf of Chairman outside Singapore11A. The Chairman of the Board may, with the approval of the Minister, appoint a member of the Board to perform the functions of the Chairman outside Singapore in relation to such matters or class of matters as the Chairman may specify.”.
