14. Acting Chairperson and members of Board
Feedback & supportThe Minister may appoint an individual (other than the Chief Executive) to act temporarily as the Chairperson during any period, or during all periods, when the Chairperson is —
Chief Executive
“Chief Executive” means the Chief Executive of the Board, and includes any individual acting in that capacity;
absent from duty or Singapore; or
for any reason, unable to perform the duties of the office.
The Minister may appoint an individual to act temporarily as a member of the Board (other than the Chairperson) during any period, or during all periods, when the member is —
absent from duty or Singapore; or
for any reason, unable to perform the duties of the office.
An individual is ineligible for appointment under this section to act as the Chairperson or a member of the Board if the individual is disqualified under section 11(2) for appointment as a member of the Board.
Chairperson
“Chairperson” means the individual appointed under section 12(1)(a) as the Chairperson of the Board, and includes any individual appointed under section 14 to act in that capacity;
