Regulation 5

Any person who fails to comply with regulation 3(1) or 4A(1), or any notice issued by the Director-General under regulation 3(2) or 4, or any term or condition of a permit granted under regulation 4A(2), shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $40,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $1,000 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction.
