Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
This Order is the Environmental Public Health (Designation of Specified Premises) (Amendment) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 July 2026.
Amendment of paragraph 2
In the Environmental Public Health (Designation of Specified Premises) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 532/2021), in paragraph 2 —
replace the definition of “adult disability home” with —“ “adult disability home” has the meaning given by paragraph 2 of the First Schedule to the Social Residential Homes Act 2025;”;
delete the definitions of “disability hostel” and “home for the aged”;
replace the definition of “home for children and young persons” with —“ “home for children and young persons” has the meaning given by paragraph 2 of the First Schedule to the Social Residential Homes Act 2025;”; and
after the definition of “psychiatric facility”, insert —“ “sheltered home” has the meaning given by paragraph 2 of the First Schedule to the Social Residential Homes Act 2025;”.
Amendment of Schedule
In the Environmental Public Health (Designation of Specified Premises) Order 2021, in the Schedule —
delete items 2 and 5; and (b)after item 29, insert — “30.Any sheltered home1 July 2026”.
