Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Licensable Aquatic Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 April 2026.

Environmental Public Health (Licensable Aquatic Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation S135 2026, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2026.
Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Licensable Aquatic Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 April 2026.
Amendment of regulation 3
In the Environmental Public Health (Licensable Aquatic Facilities) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 644/2021) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 3 —
in the regulation heading, replace “or to renew” with “grant or renewal of”;
replace “or to renew” with “the grant or renewal of”;
in paragraph (b), insert “and” at the end; (d)delete paragraph (c); and
in paragraph (d), replace “to renew” with “for the renewal of”.
New regulations 3A and 3B
In the principal Regulations, after regulation 3, insert —“Fees3A. The fees payable in respect of an aquatic facility licence are specified in the First Schedule.Period of licence3B. Subject to section 99(8) of the Act, an aquatic facility licence is for a period of 3 years.”.
Amendment of First Schedule
In the principal Regulations, in the First Schedule —
in the Schedule reference, replace “3(c)” with “3A”; and
replace items 1 and 2 with — “1.For the grant of an aquatic facility licence $540 2.For the renewal of an aquatic facility licence $200”.
Saving and transitional provisions
To avoid doubt, every aquatic facility licence granted under section 99(1) of the Act before 1 April 2026 continues in force on or after that date until the expiry or cancellation of the aquatic facility licence, whichever is earlier.
An application for an aquatic facility licence made under the principal Regulations as in force immediately before 1 April 2026 that is still pending on that date is to be treated as an application for the grant of an aquatic facility licence under regulation 3, read with regulations 3A and 3B, of the principal Regulations as in force on that date.
An application to renew an aquatic facility licence made under the principal Regulations as in force immediately before 1 April 2026 that is still pending on that date is to be treated as an application for the renewal of an aquatic facility licence under regulation 3, read with regulation 3A, of the principal Regulations as in force on that date, but regulation 3B of the principal Regulations as in force on that date does not apply.
