Regulation 4

Any person for whom gas pipeline works have been carried out and completed on any gas transmission pipeline owned by or under the management or control of a gas transporter or an exempt gas transporter shall be exempt from the requirement under section 60 of the Act to obtain a fire safety certificate in respect of the completed gas pipeline works if, upon the completion of the gas pipeline works, that person obtains the confirmation referred to in paragraph 3(1).

Any person for whom gas pipeline works have been carried out and completed on any gas pipeline (but not a gas transmission pipeline) owned by or under the management or control of a gas transporter or an exempt gas transporter shall be exempt from the requirement under section 60 of the Act to obtain a fire safety certificate in respect of the completed gas pipeline works.

Any person for whom gas pipeline works have been carried out and completed on any internal pipe connected to any gas pipeline owned by or under the management or control of a gas transporter or an exempt gas transporter shall be exempt from the requirement under section 60 of the Act to obtain a fire safety certificate in respect of the completed gas pipeline works.
