Regulation 3
Retail point of sale to customers of Singapore Sweep tickets
Subregulation 1
A relevant agent —
who conducts the Singapore Sweep by selling to customers any Singapore Sweep ticket in any place or premises in Singapore that is not an approved gambling venue for the conduct of that public lottery; and
who does not conduct, in or from the same place or premises, any betting operation or any gaming or any other lottery,is exempt from section 19(1) of the Act with respect to that place or those premises.
Subregulation 2
A relevant reseller —
who conducts the Singapore Sweep by selling to customers any Singapore Sweep ticket in any place or premises in Singapore that is not an approved gambling venue for the conduct of that public lottery; and
who does not conduct, in or from the same place or premises, any betting operation or gaming or any other lottery,is exempt from section 18(1) of the Act, and from section 19(1) of the Act with respect to that place or those premises.
