Regulation 4
Distributing Singapore Sweep tickets for sale on consignment
Subregulation 1
A relevant agent —
who conducts the Singapore Sweep in any place or premises in Singapore that is not an approved gambling venue for the conduct of that public lottery —
by printing any Singapore Sweep ticket; and
then by distributing any Singapore Sweep ticket by way of consigning them for sale; and
who does not conduct, in or from the same place or premises, any betting operation or any gaming or any other lottery,is exempt from section 19(1) of the Act with respect to that place or those premises.
Subregulation 2
A person other than a relevant agent —
who conducts the Singapore Sweep in any place or premises in Singapore that is not an approved gambling venue for the conduct of that public lottery by distributing any Singapore Sweep ticket by way of consigning them for sale; and
who does not conduct, in or from the same place or premises, any betting operation or any gaming or any other lottery,is exempt from section 18(1) of the Act, and from section 19(1) of the Act with respect to that place or those premises.
