37. General duties of gas retailer

(a)
to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, reliable and economical service for the retailing of gas; and

“gas” means natural gas and town gas, but does not include liquefied petroleum gas;
(b)
to carry on its licensed gas business at all times in such manner so as not to prevent, restrict or otherwise hinder the development of competition in any gas market in Singapore.
