Employee, etc., of paragraph 17 or 18 class licensee
Every individual who is employed or engaged (whether or not as a driver or pilot or otherwise) by a person who is a class licensee by virtue of paragraph 17 or 18 to transport a relevant consignment of lower‑risk explosives consisting of 3 or more metric tonnes of a lower‑risk explosive that is not a specified lower‑risk explosive and in the circumstances described in paragraph 17 or 18, is subject to a class licence authorising the individual to do the following in the course of the individual’s employment or engagement by the class licensee:
to transport the relevant consignment of lower‑risk explosives that are not specified lower‑risk explosives;
to be in possession of any lower‑risk explosive that is not a specified lower‑risk explosive when so transporting that relevant consignment of lower‑risk explosives.
