Clause 28

The provisions of sections 26 and 27 of this Act shall apply only to or in respect of a contract of insurance of goods (whether or not the contract includes any other class of insurance) where the premium or other sum payable for the cover given by the contract of insurance, or any part of that premium or sum, was included as part of the total amount payable for the goods comprised in the hire-purchase agreement.

The provisions of this Part of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other written law.
