Clause 43
Service of notices
Any notice or document required or authorised to be served on or given or sent to an owner or hirer or any person under this Act shall be deemed to be duly served or given or sent if it has been —
(a)
delivered to him personally;
(b)
left at his place of abode or business with some other person apparently an inmate thereof or employed thereat and apparently of or over the age of sixteen years; or
(c)
posted by registered post addressed to him at his last known place of abode or business.
