This Ordinance may be cited as the Hotels (Amendment) Ordinance, 1963, and shall come into operation on such date as the Yang di-Pertuan Negara may by notification in the Gazette appoint.

Clause 2

Amendment of section 12

Section 12 of the Hotels Ordinance, 1954, is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting immediately after the expression “Ordinance;” appearing in the last line of paragraph (a) thereof the word “and”;

(b)

by deleting paragraph (b) thereof; and

(c)

by re-lettering the existing paragraph (c) thereof as paragraph (b).
