Short title and commencement
This Ordinance may be cited as the Housing and Development (Amendment No. 2) Ordinance, 1963, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 21st day of September 1963.

Short title and commencement
This Ordinance may be cited as the Housing and Development (Amendment No. 2) Ordinance, 1963, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 21st day of September 1963.
Repeal and re-enactment of section 6
Section 6 of the Housing and Development Ordinance, 1959, is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor: —“Disqualification from membership and vacation of seat6.—
No person shall be eligible to be appointed or to remain a member of the Board who —
is an undischarged bankrupt;
has been convicted of an offence by a court of law in any part of the Federation and sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than six months and has not received a free pardon; or
is a person found or declared under any written law to be of unsound mind.(2) The seat of a member of the Board shall become vacant —
on his death;
if he, without sufficient cause acceptable to the Minister, fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the Board;
if he becomes subject to any of the disqualifications specified in subsection (1) of this section; or
if he shall resign his seat.”.
