Amendment of rule 4
of Housing and Development (Common Property and Open Spaces) (Amendment) Rules 2026
In the principal Rules, in rule 4(3), replace sub‑paragraph (b) with —“(b)upon the owner of the vehicle having paid the following charges:
if the vehicle is immobilised — a clamping charge of the applicable amount specified in the second column of the Schedule corresponding to the type of vehicle specified in the first column of that Schedule;
if the vehicle is removed — a removal charge of the applicable amount specified in the third column of the Schedule corresponding to the type of vehicle specified in the first column of that Schedule;
if the vehicle is detained — a storage charge at the applicable rate specified in the fourth column of the Schedule, corresponding to the type of vehicle specified in the first column of that Schedule, for each day or part of a day during which the vehicle is detained, starting on the day the vehicle is detained.”.
