11AA. Validity of re‑entry permit, etc.

The Controller may, at the time of issuing a re‑entry permit, specify its validity period.
Controller
“Controller” means the Controller of Immigration appointed under section 3;
A person who is issued a re‑entry permit is authorised to re‑enter Singapore at any one or more times during the validity period of the re‑entry permit.
re-entry permit
“re-entry permit” means a permit to re-enter Singapore issued under section 11;
A re‑entry permit issued to a person ceases to be valid when —
the validity period of the re‑entry permit expires;
the re‑entry permit is cancelled under this Act; or
the entry permit issued to that person is cancelled under this Act,whichever occurs first.
