Prohibition of removal of articles before examination

of Immigration Act 1959

(1)

Except with the authority of an immigration officer, no article or thing is to be removed or taken from, or put on board, any vessel until the vessel has been examined by an immigration officer under section 19.

(2)

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
