326. Commencement and duration of bankruptcy
Feedback & supportThe bankruptcy of any person who has been adjudged bankrupt by a bankruptcy order (whether made against the person or against the firm in which the person is a partner) —

“bankrupt” means —(a)an individual debtor who has been adjudged bankrupt by a bankruptcy order; or(b)where a bankruptcy order has been made against a firm, each of the partners in the firm;

commences on the day the bankruptcy order is made; and
bankruptcy order

“bankruptcy order” means an order adjudging a debtor bankrupt;
(b)
continues until the person is discharged under Part 18.
