Policy owners’ protection scheme

Subregulation 1

The appointed actuary or certifying actuary, as the case may be, of a licensed insurer shall compute and report to the insurer the protected liabilities of the insurer to enable the insurer to comply with a notice by the Authority under section 84(1) of the Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Schemes Act (Cap. 77B) relating to the insurer’s protected liabilities.

Subregulation 2

In this regulation, “protected liabilities” has the same meaning as in the Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Schemes Act.
