Medical officers of armed forces to be regarded as pathologist or medical practitioner under supervision of pathologist

The provisions of the Coroners Act 2010 shall, in respect of any inquiries into any death in any security area, have effect as if reference therein to a pathologist, or a medical practitioner under the supervision of a pathologist, included reference in each case to a medical officer of the Singapore Armed Forces when acting in the course of his duty:Provided that no such medical officer of the Singapore Armed Forces shall, without his consent, be required by any order or otherwise to perform a post-mortem examination of any body.
