Conditions in place of detention

Subregulation 1
The Superintendent of a place of detention must —
(a)
ensure that the place of detention is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition; and (b)take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and health of the detained persons in the place of detention.

Every detained person must keep his cell clean.
