21. Amendment of section 42

Section 42 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended —

by deleting subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(1) Whenever it appears to the Yang di-Pertuan Negara that any land is required for temporary occupation and use for a public purpose, he may direct the Collector to procure the occupation and use of such land for such term as may be determined, but such term shall not exceed three years from the commencement of such occupation.”; and

by deleting the word “court” appearing at the end of subsection (3) thereof and substituting therefor the word “Board”.
