Saving and transitional provision

Clause 97
(1)
For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of any provision of this Act, the Minister may, by regulations, prescribe such provisions of a saving or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of that provision as the Minister may consider necessary or expedient.
(2)
In this section, “Minister” —
(a)
except in relation to sections 55, 56, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 77, 78, 79, 82 and 83, means the Minister charged with the responsibility for land transport; and
(b)
in relation to sections 55, 56, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 77, 78, 79, 82 and 83, means the Minister charged with the responsibility for law and order.
