Amendment of section 75C

Clause 24
Section 75C of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the words “may practise” in subsection (1), the words “in a Singapore law practice”;
(b)
by deleting the words “in the practice of a solicitor in Singapore or in the practice of a law corporation or a limited liability law partnership” in subsection (1)(b) and substituting the words “in a Singapore law practice”;
(c)
by inserting, immediately after the words “in practice” in subsection (4), the words “in a Singapore law practice”; and
(d)
by deleting the section heading and substituting the following section heading:“Qualification to practise as sole proprietor, partner or director of Singapore law practice”.
