2. Definitions

Subregulation 1

In these Regulations —

“appropriate form”, in relation to any provision of these Regulations, means the form set out for the purposes of that provision on the Internet website at https://mha.gov.sg/mha‑e‑services;

“authorised representative”, in relation to an entity making representations under section 16(2) or an application under section 17(2) or 32(2)(b), means the responsible officer of the entity authorised by the entity to make the representations or application, as the case may be;

“constitutional documents”, in relation to an entity, means the constitution, memorandum or articles of association, trust deed or equivalent instrument of the entity;

“contact address”, for any person, means either or both of the following nominated by the person for the service of documents on that person:

(a)

an address in Singapore;

(b)

an email address;

“donations report”, in relation to a reporting period, means a report made under section 18(1) of all reportable donations for the reporting period;

“foreign affiliations report”, in relation to a reporting period, means a report made under section 19(1) of all of the designated entity’s foreign affiliations for the reporting period;

“identity particulars” means —

(a)

for an individual, the individual’s —

(i)

full name;

(ii)

identity card number, passport number or work pass number;

(iii)

nationality and date of birth; and

(iv)

contact address; or

(b)

for an entity, the entity’s —

(i)

full name;

(ii)

country of incorporation or formation;

(iii)

Unique Entity Number (UEN), if any; and

(iv)

contact address;

“key management report” means a report made under section 20(1) of a designated entity’s governing body composition;

“market value”, in relation to any property, means the price that the property might reasonably be expected to fetch on a sale in the open market;

“property” does not include money;

“reportable donation”, in relation to a reporting period, means any foreign donation or anonymous donation accepted by a designated entity during that period, excluding any donations that need not be reported under regulation 11;

“reportable foreign affiliation”, in relation to a reporting period, means any foreign affiliation that a designated entity has during that period;

“reporting period” means —

(a)

for reportable donations — the period described in regulation 10; or

(b)

for reportable foreign affiliations — the period described in regulation 17.
