3. Declaration of ports by Minister

The Minister may, after consultation with the Authority and by notification in the Gazette, declare any place in Singapore and any navigable river or waters leading into such place to be a port for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
Every declaration under subsection (1) must define the limits of the port.
