Citation and commencement
This Order is the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973 (Amendment of First Schedule) (No. 2) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 June 2026.

Citation and commencement
This Order is the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973 (Amendment of First Schedule) (No. 2) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 June 2026.
Amendment of First Schedule
In the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973, in the First Schedule, in Part 1 —
in paragraph 18, after item (43AB), insert —“(43AC)2-(4-Ethoxybenzyl)-N-ethyl-5-nitro-1H-benzimidazole-1-ethanamine (also known as N‑desethyl etonitazene) and its ethylamino structural isomer and their respective ethoxy positional isomers in the phenyl ring and nitro positional isomers in the 6‑membered ring of the benzimidazole structure”;
in paragraph 18, after item (75), insert —“(75AA)5-Nitro-2-(4-isopropoxybenzyl)-1-[2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)ethyl]-1H-benzo[d]imidazole (also known as N‑pyrrolidino isotonitazene or isotonitazepyne) and its isopropoxy structural isomers and their respective isopropoxy positional isomers in the phenyl ring and nitro positional isomers in the 6‑membered ring of the benzimidazole structure”; and
in paragraph 19, after item (36), insert —“(36A)N-Methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine (also known as MiPT)”.
