Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Misuse of Drugs (Community Rehabilitation Centres) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 May 2026.

Misuse of Drugs (Community Rehabilitation Centres) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation S263 2026, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2026.
Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Misuse of Drugs (Community Rehabilitation Centres) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 May 2026.
Amendment of regulation 2
In the Misuse of Drugs (Community Rehabilitation Centres) Regulations 2014 (G.N. No. S 311/2014) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 2 —
after the definition of “minor offence”, insert —“ “Part 3A product” has the meaning given by section 19A of the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control Act 1993;”;
after the definition of “Review Committee”, insert —“ “specified psychoactive substance” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control Act 1993;”;
in the definition of “supervision officer”, replace the full‑stop at the end with a semi‑colon; and
after the definition of “supervision officer”, insert —“ “vaporiser” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control Act 1993.”.
Amendment of regulation 8
In the principal Regulations, in regulation 8(2), replace sub‑paragraph (e) with —“(e)must not consume any controlled drug, psychoactive substance or specified psychoactive substance;
(ea)must not have in his possession —
any controlled drug or psychoactive substance; or
any Part 3A product that contains a specified psychoactive substance; and”.
Amendment of regulation 20
In the principal Regulations, in regulation 20(3), after sub‑paragraph (c), insert —“(ca)any Part 3A product;”.
Amendment of Schedule
In the principal Regulations, in the Schedule —
in Part I, in paragraph 1, after sub‑paragraph (f), insert —“(fa)smokes or inhales any substance by using a vaporiser;”; and
in Part II, in paragraph 1, replace sub‑paragraphs (e), (f) and (g) with —“(e)brings any controlled drug, psychoactive substance, intoxicating substance, medication or Part 3A product, into the centre without lawful authority;
is found in possession of any controlled drug, psychoactive substance, intoxicating substance or medication, without lawful authority;
(fa)is found in possession of any Part 3A product that contains a specified psychoactive substance, without lawful authority;
consumes any controlled drug, psychoactive substance, intoxicating substance, specified psychoactive substance or medication, without lawful authority;”.
