Penalties for supplying false information
Subregulation 1
Any person who wilfully supplies false information as to any particulars required to be entered in any register under these Regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
Subregulation 2
Any person who enters in any register required to be kept under these Regulations false information as to any particulars prescribed to be entered knowing the same to be false or not believing it to be true shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
